The entire bathroom renovation from start to finish was a level of superior quality not usually
found these days.
Not only do I recognize your professional expertise, but also your patience and constant
communication throughout the process. Going to resources with me to work with design and
selections was such a help as well as your understanding of my safety concerns.
Your team of professionals (plumber, electrician, etc) were all a pleasure to work with extending
the same concern and care as you. Clean-up was never an issue.
I especially love the amazing spa-like shower you designed! Should have converted my tub to
shower much earlier–never realized I’d have a shower out of a magazine and at a reasonable
price.

Duran Contracting was contacted because of the recommendation on Angie’s List. He responded very quickly and discussed the project thoroughly when submitting the estimate. His suggestions were creative and excellent and reflected ln-depth knowledge of the construction issues. There was no difficulty in communicating expectations or in clarifying concerns.
Once the decision was made to continue, Marlon was not only totally professional, but he also made the entire process easier. He was mindful of the budget constraints and made himself available to assist in selecting the products used. His crew was a pleasure to have in the house, always friendly, respectful, and aware of the inconvenience of remodeling. They worked six days a week and arrived in a timely manner.
Before leaving daily, they cleaned up all construction debris both inside and outside. Everyone was very detail oriented and concerned with customer satisfaction. The project was completed according to the original timeline given. The bathrooms are wonderful; they look great and function beautifully. Marlon is the ideal contractor – cheerful, trustworthy, competent, patient, organized, and attentive to the job.

Marlon and his team were outstanding. We’ve done a lot of renovation work in the past and Marlon was the most organized and professional contractor we have used. When we first contacted him he was able to come out to take measurements for an estimate within 24 hours. He provided his detailed estimate and plans quickly and was always responsive whenever we contacted him with questions. His estimate was lower than any of the others we got (I think there were a total of 5).
He started on the day he originally planned and he stayed exactly on schedule through the day the project was complete. The total time from the day we moved out of our kitchen until the day we moved back in was 2 weeks, exactly what he had told us to plan on.
Prior to doing any work, Marlon carefully hung plastic to completely insulate the kitchen from the rest of the house. He also covered all of the furniture in the adjoining family room. His crew was so neat and the plastic sheeting on the doorways was so effective that none of the plastic he used to cover the furniture even had dust on it.
Marlon’s team was also extremely professional and courteous. Each of his guys arrived on schedule, was friendly and courteous and cleaned prior to leaving. His painter even found our neighbor’s wallet on the curb, looked at the license for the address and returned it completely in tact. After meeting his guys, I had no hesitation about leaving them to work in the house alone.
Our finished kitchen is exactly what we were hoping for and we couldn’t have been happier with the process. We will definitely be using Duran Contracting again for any of our home improvement needs.

I had to use Duran Contracting due to my business being flooded by a neighboring unit. While I primarily dealt with Neil, I met and interacted with the owner, Marlon, on several occasions. I cannot begin to express how impressed I was with this company from the very beginning. They were pros in dealing with the insurance company. Their subcontractors were top notch. They did excellent work, and they made my office better then it was before. I would definitely use this company, for commercial or residential purposes.
